Meet
Nick DeBruno, LMT
Oregon LMT #29534
Nick is a licensed massage therapist offering in-home bodywork in Southern Oregon. His practice blends deep tissue massage, Tui Na-inspired techniques, structural awareness, and nervous-system-centered care.
Nick’s work is intuitive while remaining grounded in anatomy. Sessions may be slow and settling, focused and specific, or a combination of both, depending on what your body needs that day. His approach supports people navigating chronic pain, injury recovery, stress, tension, and the need for deep rest.
As a queer-owned practice, Nick aims to create care that feels respectful, attuned, and accessible. His work is consent-based, communication-centered, and shaped by respect for each client’s boundaries, body, and lived experience.
Training & Approach
Nick completed his massage training at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, where he studied anatomy and physiology, therapeutic massage, deep tissue techniques, and integrative bodywork. His ongoing interests include chronic pain management, nervous system regulation, and massage to support both relief and reconnection. His unique style combines the use of deep tissue within the framework of Tui Na and Chinese Medicine, with the goal of working with the body holistically to achieve lasting results.
Outside of Work
Aside from massage, Nick has many passions. Having worked in the service industry for almost twenty years, he understands the challenges of working on your feet all day. But he also gained a deep love of food and cooking that continues to be a source of joy daily. He enjoys hiking and can often be found walking his dog throughout Ashland. A lifelong learner, Nick is an avid reader and loves keeping up with current events. He thrives when traveling, witnessing new places, trying unique dishes, and meeting fresh faces.
He brings all facets of himself to his practice and always centers his treatments in empathy, understanding, and a communal goal of improving his clients’ lives.
